We have booked a trip! I thought our fans might want to hear about some of the preparations and it also gives me time for a trial run of the blog before we get started.

Our Africa trip is set for Sep 26- Oct 12. This is the itinerary:

Sep 26: Leave home
Sep 27: Arrive Kilimanjaro Airport, transfer, overnight at Bristol Cottages in Moshi
Sep 28: Rest Day, overnight at Bristol Cottages in Moshi
Sep 29: Machame Camp
Sep 30: Shira Camp
Oct 1: Barranco Camp
Oct 2: Karanga Camp
Oct 3: Barafu Camp
Oct 4: Summit, Millenium Camp
Oct 5: Return to Moshi, overnight at Bristol Cottages
Oct 6: Drive to Lake Manyara, afternoon game drive, overnight at Serena Lake Manyara
Oct 7: Drive to Serengeti, afternoon game drive, overnight at Mbuzi Mawe Camp
Oct 8: Serengeti, full day game drive, overnight at Mbuzi Mawe Camp
Oct 9: Drive Serengeti to Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge, overnight at Serena Ngorongoro
Oct 10: Ngorongoro Crater, morning game drive, afternoon return to Moshi, overnight Bristol Cottages
Oct 11: Depart Kilimanjaro Airport
Oct 12: Home
